Eef Barzelay

Clem Snide covers Journey There's something that happens when a musician takes a bombastic song out of its context, strips it down to the essence, and makes it more understandable than the original. For me, this is one of those musicians, and this is one of those times.

Visitor

Last night, as I was walking to the car, I spotted a doe watching my approach.  The female white-tailed deer was standing alert at the lip of the parking lot just where we entered that wooded patch for last spring's bring-your-own-snacks picnic.  Maybe she was looking for leftovers...  I said hello, spun my keys on my finger, and she bounded away.
